removing wall receptacle from mobile home can i cap the wires?is a junction box necessary?i already removed the box can l put the wires back in the wall
without it?
Yeah a junction box is necessary but it is also important that
you isolate it fom the source of power.
I am assuming that it is an older mobile home. In which case
alot of the time they didn't use actual boxes. If this is the case what
you need is a remodel or pop in box. You take the old plug out of the wall
disconnect the wires put them through the back of the pop in install the
box in the wall. Then cap off or make joints. finish it off with a blank.
Yes you can cap the wires. Then tape them with electrical tape.
They should already be in a box.
